Crescent Bahuman: ERP |
Crescent Bahuman Limited is engaged in the
business of textile manufacturing and exports.
The CBL plant is situated over 1,300 acres with
manufacturing facilities of 1,000,000 square
feet. |
|
|
Challenge |
|
With revenues rapidly increasing, CBL needed to
streamline its operations and manage the overall
production level across multiple manufacturing
processes as a cohesive and a well-collaborated
unit. |
|
|
Solution |
|
Techlogix implemented a sophisticated
and user-friendly Enterprise Resource
Planning (ERP) solution to meet the
client's needs. The core Financials
applications used Oracle Applications
11.5.5 while Customer Relationship
Management (CRM) and Production Planning
modules were custom-developed using the
J2EE platform. This ERP system will
result in streamlining the overall
production level across multiple
manufacturing processes. |

|
Benefits |
|
The organization will be able to spot late
delivery situations before they become a
problem, plan production schedules in advance,
recognize and correct production cost variances
on a periodic basis. A heightened visibility
into the status of all activities at the plant
will allow the management to quickly and easily
respond to its customers' inquiries regarding
delivery schedules. At the same time, it will
give plant management the real-time overview of
plant operations required to more effectively
manage its production processes. |
