Challenge - 1.4 million parts on the Web Solution - Informix iSell and Java

Kaman approached Techlogix and Informix to develop a web-based version of their 1.4 million SKU catalog.  A key requirement was integration with the legacy ERP system developed in-house at Kaman.  This integration was necessary to allow Kaman's business customers to shop at the site using Purchase Orders, review their accounts online and also to provide an accurate reflection of inventory to the customer.

Techlogix successfully delivered and deployed an integrated solution using iSell, Informix's Java-based web platform.

By integrating their web catalog with the ERP systems of customers like Procter & Gamble, Kaman has significantly streamlined the purchasing process for its customers.  Simultaneously the cost of servicing customer requests has decreased dramatically.
